Been in Japan for almost a month and today had lunch here near Nikko only an hour from where I'm staying in beautiful Tochigi Prefecture.

This is the view from the waiting room at the place I had lunch. If you look very carefully, you can see a waterfall.

Nice salad with shrimp, scallops and clams.
Grilled salmon spaghetti.
A glass of wine helps things along.
The crowning glory of the lunch would be a most glorious pumpkin custard with coffee. What a nice little lunch in a beautiful spot in Japan.

Tonight I had some of if not the best soba(buckwheat noodles) I have ever had in Japan. Not far from where I'm staying in Nishikatamachi in Tochigishi my friends and I went to this little out of the way place that would be
