ssionally as opposed to Beto is because his own son, Beto Alvarez III has become a very well established artist himself as well as an accomplished musician playing with such bands as Walker Lundee and the Boats in Philladelphia. Beto, (el grande) still jams with many musicians, as of lately with Buzz Burnett, former keyboard player for the Eagles. Beto has also played with other legendary musicians, such as Johnny Nitzinger, who was Alice Cooper's lead guitarist. He also opened up many times for Dimebag and Pantera, one of the most prolific metal bands of our time. Dimebag was assassinated in Columbus Ohio in 2004 on stage and Lamberto (Beto) created a painting of Dime, entitled "Dimebag's Raging Heart".
In his profession he has worked with Oscar de la Hoya, Little Joe of La Familia, Tito Puente, Flaco Jimenez, Dolores Huerta, Julio Cedillo and as of lately with Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, David Allan Coe and Billy Bob Thornton. He continues to paint, play and recreate himself as often as possible and still visits El Paso where all his family resides. He, of couse, stops at Chico's Tacos as soon as he gets off the plane.
