Lamonica's Story
Life
Well after high school, I went to Santa Fe for a another semester and then decided I wanted to join the military. In February 2000, I joined the Army as a 31F (Network Switching Systems Operator/Maintainer). My 1st duty station was at Camp Casey, Korea (122nd Signal Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division). I was there for a year. From there I was off to Ft Belvoir, VA (HHC INSCOM - Intelligence Security Command). I was there for 2 1/2 yrs. Update...I just got an exciting new job opportunity in South Florida, so Palm Tree's, beaches, & hurricane's here I come.
I've been back in Sunny Florida since September & have been adjusting well. My son loves his new school & I love my new job...God is good!!!
