Life
I am a widow, and a year ago had to go on kidney dialysis, but I'm waiting for a transplant. I don't miss the snow and cold, cause I'm in San Diego CA. and love it. But my mother and two of my daughters live in Marquette. Along with my 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. My brother's Jack and Rick and their families are also there. Great place to raise kid's, but not for old bones. I can't say enough for the computer, it has allowed my whole family and many friends to keep in close touch. r Park won't let you walk it, and I can't do that to a loved one, I have turned to birds. They give me alot of pleasure! One last thought, when I took my great-granddaughter to have a hamburger and fries, and I asked for gravy for my fries, all she could say was YUK!! Remember??
Workplace
Had my own beauty shop (The Dome), then went on to become Night Manager at the NCO Club at KISawyer Air Force Base. Before I retired, I worked civil service for 10 years in Tucson, AZ. I now do children's entertainment part-time in San Diego, CA. area. I love retirement.... no watches or calendars.
