Lance's Story
After Graduation, I worked for Wilson's in the Mall of Memphis, then for Brown's Auto Parts (that's right, I worked for Danny Brown). I went to Northwest Jr. College, graduating with an Associates degree in Busniess.
I then attended the University of Mississippi, graduating with a Bachelors of Business Administration, and went to work for my Dad. And as a poem states, that while I graduated from the University, I shall never leave Ole Miss. I fell in love with Ole Miss as a child, going there for football games with my dad. I started volunteering with the DeSoto Co. EMA and Fairhaven Fire Dept in 1987. In 1990 I started volunteering as an EMT with the Olive Branch Ambulance Service, and for ...Expand for more
the Olive Branch Fire Dept in 1992. While volunteering with the Ambulance Service, I met my first wife, Michelle. We were married in 1991, and divorced in 1993.
In the Spring of 1992, I started career in Emergency Medical Services when I started working for the Southaven Ambulance Service. In 1996 the Southaven Ambulance Service was merged with the Southaven Fire Dept. I became a Paramedic in 1997.
A mutual friend introduced me to Tricia Mentgen in December of 2000, and we started dating in January of 2001. In August of 2002 Tricia went to a conference with me in Pigeon Forge, TN. We came home engaged. We were married in October 2003, TN.
