Lance's Story
"Hello, fellow Red Devil classmates of Kathleen Senior High School ---- especially the class of 1968, which had one of the finest, State champion, marching and symphonic bands of that day. Those were some great times that have provided many wonderful memories, have they not? :-)
* Since 11 June 1977, I have been married to the most wonderful soul I have ever known. In every way she has been my soulmate of soulmates and friend of friends, pal of pals and companion of companions, the love and joy of my life ---- Deborah (Debbie/Deb) Rossier. We have one great natured, hardworking, God fearing, professional computer programing son who mostly takes after his mother, thank the Lord, both having a wonderful sense of humor, which as you might remember is something I never really had, and unfortunately as yet have not acquired. So, our great and wonderful God Almighty, who is the Lord Jesus Christ, has seen fit to bring balance to my life through the blessing of my wonderful wife and blessed son both having a great sense of humor.
* As of December 2012, by the grace of God, I graduated Summa Cum Laude (4.0) from the University of North Florida and as a lifetime Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society member, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. Indeed, that was a lot accomplished but a little too late in life for building a career. Yet I have always enjoyed the process of learning and I am thankful for the experience of that endeavor.
* Since a young boy, I have continued to enjoy music, which my high school band days enabled me to appreciate even more. Remaining a drummer at heart, music had always been a part of my life, enjoying most all types. However, I mostly enjoy bluesy rock, such as that produced by the likely most talented and greatest band that has ever existed, Led Zeppelin.
* Notwithstanding, other than country western and most pop and rap, I appreciate an array of music, from old-time hymns and classical symphonic to classic rock and some metal. Of all the artists I've enjoyed throughout the years, from Beethoven to the Beatles, Cream, Hendrix, Metallica, and Zeppelin and a few in between, my all-time favorite remains ---- Led Zeppelin, who demonstrated a diversity of talent second to none ---- which was by means of talent "on loan from God", given them by God (He being sovereign over ALL, absolutely all things) but has yet to be attributed by any of them to Him, their Creator God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
* Notwithstanding. the album I have listened to most over these many years is, Delicate Sound of Thunder by Pink Floyd, whose talent has also yet to be attributed by any of them to Christ their Creator.
* However, these last couple of decades I have spent more time listening to both Christian and Talk radio than to secular music in these troublesome days. In fact, I cannot remember the last time I listened to my "favorite" music for more than a few minutes here and there. I try to stay mindful of avoiding such due to how captivating it is for me, in times past so overwhelmingly so that it distracted me from things of much greater importance, things of Eternal Value.
* My favorite pastime is mountain hiking. I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors and hikes that venture through changes of terrain and scenery. Following along a mountain stream listening to the water rush and fall across the rocks, coming across a waterfall, seeing what there is to see around the next bend and over the next hill, sitting at the top of a precipice taking in an amazing view. What could be more stress relieving and enjoyable and awe inspiring? Not many things in my opinion.
* My heroes are all Vietnam Vets, who never received a hero's welcome home! All men and women of the armed forces, especially those on the "front" lines, and then those to receive my utmost regard, our Special Forces and Black Ops personnel, without whom the war on terror cannot be won and freedom will not be preserved.
* Nevertheless, they cannot do anymore for good than the authorities over them allow. And being it is evident that many of the authorities of our U.S. Government are everything but Righteous, many of their missions and activities have been for and by nefarious, God-dishonoring purposes and means, believing that “might is right”, and that being "right" can do no wrong. Can anyone say Benghazi?!
* Therefore, one of my heroes of heroes is Julian Assange for speaking truth in opposition to the power and arrogance expressed in U.S. war crimes, and for the significant suffering he has endured for his truth-seeking endeavors. By all measures of justice, Assange has been wrongfully imprisoned, should be exonerated, and should be compensated for all of his and his loved ones' pain and suffering.
* Since my high school days, my primary interest has consistently been getting to know and understand our Great God Almighty, the Lord Jesus Christ, through the Holy preserved Words that He delivered unto us for our learning.
*** “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
*** “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11).
* Jesus Christ, who is one with God the Father, and IS God, also being the Son of God and our Creator and the Sacrificial Lamb of God, whose Holy Blood paid in full the sin debt of the whole world, making Him the One and Only, True and Living, Savior and Lord, who is also the coming Warrior of all warriors, and Judge of all judges, King of all kings, and LORD of all lords.
* This lifelong endeavor, since the age of twelve, has been via the study of the Holy Scriptures and Prophecies of the God ordained and providentially preserved Authorized Version - Holy King James Bible, which is by all evidence, both spiritual and terrestrial, the Holy and Living Words of God Almighty written and preserved for this end-time English speaking age and world.
* Moreover, since junior high school, my interests and involvements in relational and marriage counseling have spurred my endeavor to understand not only my own behavior and mistakes in life but also that of my fellow humans, which has motivated me in a lifelong interest and study of both Bible-based and secular psychology, all in hopes of adding value, both spiritual and temporal ---- to the life of others.
* Some of my favorite quotes and personal sayings are as follows:
*** "The best result comes from everyone in the group doing what’s best for himself and the group” (Nobel laureate, John Nash).
*** "It is only in the mysterious equation of love that any logical reasons can be found” (John Nash from A Beautiful Mind).
*** "For all the law is fulfilled in one world, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself" (Galatians 5:14; AV-KJB).
* Think about it! Is it not pure love and concern for you and your needs, or the lack thereof, that has made the greatest impact and difference in your life?! If you are being honest with the person-in-the-mirror, you know this is true! Love, concern, consideration, and appreciation are what we all desire and even crave from our fellow men and women, especially those close to us.
* Yet it is better to give than to receive. Therefore, try today to be kind toward someone to whom you have not been kind to before, to do something special for someone whom you know and appreciate. *** “Purpose to build others up and not tear them down, to add value to their lives instead of taking value away” (LR).
* The very best way to do this is to tell them the Truth!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God" (John 3:16-18; AV-KJB).
* Yet beware, because it has often been true that ...
*** "Christian scholarship is the Church's prodigious invention to defend itself against the Bible" (Kierkegaard).
* How true this is in this day of progressive truth and situational ethics, which is not truth or ethics but a perversion of Truth and Truth based ethics. Which is a lie, because genuine Truth is Absolute and not transient, not changing with the times. God Almighty’s Word of Truth is genuine Truth and it tells us …
*** "Faith cometh by hearing [not scholarship], and hearing by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17; AV-KJB)!!!
* Another favorite thought-provoking quote that defines the limitations of science comes from one of the greatest scientists of all times, who was two centuries ahead of his time:
*** "Instinct is something which transcends knowledge. We have, undoubtedly, certain finer fibers that enable us to perceive truths when logical deduction, or any other willful effort of the brain, is futile" (Nikola Tesla). Although, unfortunately, Tesla never realized that this enlightenment given him by God was supposed to lead him to God and Christ Jesus his Creator.
* Indeed, while our soul is what makes us different from anyone else, it is our soul and spirit together that gives us our eternal existence ---- whether in heaven or in hell. It is this union of soul and spirit that our Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ, reserved for Himself to commune with in this terrestrial life as well as throughout all eternity. And it is for lack of that communion with our Creator that we sense an emptiness deep within us, a pit that needs filling, that can only be filled by our Creator God Himself, who is the Lord Jesus Christ.
* Therefore, Confess yourself as the sinner that you are and Believe in His Holy Blood sacrifice in payment for your sins and in the Free Gift of God’s forgiveness and everlasting life with Him in Glory, and then by your earnest Confessing and Believing you will in that moment become once and forever Born Again, whereby Christ fills that void with Himself.
* Do not become one of those souls who end up in hell and then the eternal Lake of Fire ---- with Christ’s Free Gift of their Sin Debt being PAID IN FULL but left UNCLAIMED by you.
* Very soon millions of people will go missing in the night of one twenty-four-hour period. Chaos and anarchy will ensue if the governments of this world do not respond quickly with a believable explanation (UFOs & ETs???). Hence, a significant increase in police and military presence will be perpetrated upon the masses of this world. And then an exceptionally charismatic politician and significantly persuasive orator will emerge from European political circles who will unite the world in support of his solutions to the world’s problems. All the while natural cataclysms will inundate this earth unlike any experienced before in the history of mankind, and then judgments from the very hand of God Almighty will be poured out upon this world in response to the nations’ ongoing wickedness and outright evil and lack of repentance, which will take this world to the very brink of existence. Over eighty percent of the world’s population will perish within this prophesied seven-years of unprecedented Tribulation.
* You do not want to be Left Behind to face this fate of the world. Yet the only way you can escape it is by becoming a Born Again Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ through Confession of your sinfulness and Belief in Christ’s Free Gift of forgiveness and life everlasting.
* May you find the genuine purpose of life that you seek and the lasting joy of life you desire. However, know that such genuine purpose and lasting joy can only come from appropriating the Grace and Mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ, which He, as your Creator, has in mind for you and for all those who are ---- His Children.
* However, because of Nature and Nurture, all of us are born and grow-up as children of this world, as children of darkness, as sinners and children of the god of this world, the Devil. And because of this status in Truth, each of us MUST Believe on Christ's Death, Burial, and Resurrection to be transformed into being ---- one of His Children.
* Why? Because we are all born with a sinful nature that we inherited from Adam and Eve, which they got by listening to the Devil instead of their Creator God Almighty. And it is because of this sinful nature that all of us have sinned and fallen short of God's Glory and perfect standard of Holiness, which is the Lord Jesus Christ.
* The only way we can become a Child of God is through being Born Again in our Spirit and Soul, which is otherwise dead to God because of our sin nature inherited from Adam. And the only way we can become Born Again is by believing in His Holy Blood as payment for our sins and by believing in His bodily Resurrection from His grave as evidence of Him being God and having power over life and death and to give the gift of life everlasting.
* Which is why Jesus said:
*** "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3).
*** [And again]: "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water [of the womb] and of the Spirit [by His Spirit], he cannot enter into the kingdom of God" (John 3:5).
*** "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again" (John 3:7).

* Do not end up being one of those souls who are LEFT BEHIND, and then, after it is too late, find yourself in hell and then in the everlasting Lake of Fire with the Free Gift of your Sin Debt having been PAID IN FULL and Fully Forgiven ---- but left UNCLAIMED by you.
* This is the Gospel of Grace of the LORD Jesus Christ. It is God's remedy to mankind's dilemma with the issues of man's problem with Sin, man's need for a Righteous standing before God, and of every soul's fate with their coming Judgment before and by God Almighty,
* Therefore ...
*** "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
*** "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed" (Romans 10:9-11).
* May God Almighty's BEST blessings come upon you and reside within you, which only awaits you receiving Christ's Free Gift of Eternal Forgiveness and Everlasting Life, made possible ---- only by ---- His Holy Blood sacrifice for your sins. Amen!
* As the late Billy Graham often said:
"(((May your troubles be less, your blessings more, and may nothing but happiness, come through your door. "Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil - it has no point." May each of us have lived our lives so that when our ticket is punched we don't have to worry about where we are going.)))"
* Confess and Believe today, even now, before your ticket is punched and it is too late.
