Lane's Story
My heavens, but this seems like a big task. After HS, I attended Whitman College, in Walla Walla, WA for the first 2 years, then finished up at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. After college, I moved to San Diego, CA (my father was stationed there) and worked and lived the California lifestyle. Was great fun! Then met this guy from the Lincoln, NE and he convinced me to marry him and move back to the "good life" of Nebraska. Have been here since 1979. We have two children, a boy and a girl. I work as an Escrow Officer for a title company helping people purchase their homes. It is an exciting thing to do. As so...Expand for more
me of you may know, I was an actress in HS and college. In fact, I majored in Theatre in college. I was able to obtain a couple of paying jobs after college, but once I got married, I used my acting for recreational purposes only. Although, if truth be told, I use those acting skills every day with customers! You want to close that tomorrow, sure no problem! (not)
My son just got married in May 2008. What an event! We just love his wife. My daughter has a significant other, but no wedding date as of today. I look forward to the day day when I am a grandma. I practice on the dog, but it's not quite the same thing!
