Life
If anyone is interested Id like to hear from you. I live in Aubrey Texas. I'm still married and a lot has changed since the last time I was on this site. My daughter Mindy got married in October 2008 & it was a HUGE surprise. I worked for FEMA doing damage inspections that occurred during hurricanes Gustav & Ike. For 2 months I was in Shreveport, New Orleans, & Houston. Anyway, Mindy is now 18, and my 2 stepsons are Jesse (23) & Jarrod (18). My stepson Jesse announced on Christmas day that he & his girlfriend got engaged. Wow! I am about to have 2 out 3 children married! I never thought I'd be here at this point in my life. I still love camping,hunting fossils,shooting my guns,going to concerts (any one see def leppard/journey last year?) and good food and just hangin with friends & jammin' on my sweet guitars. My wife is way cool and an awesome cook she is working on her masters in museum studies at the University of Oklahoma. I wouldn't be her...Expand for more
e if it wasn't for her. Oct.9 2002 I was a general contractor and I came down with A.M.L. acute (Leukiemia). I lost my business and almost my life. I had six rounds of chemo,three relapses, I lost a chunk of my right lung and was blind in both eyes, got a heart stent and was dying but the LORD and his amazing grace rained down on me! Its a long story but I had a bone marrow transplant (Four & a half years out now). If you want the full story you will have to ask. Anyway, I have a different outlook on life and a second chance. I drive a 63 Chevy truck, a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Nissan Altima. I live in a 120 year old church, I grow my own vegetables, built a kickin' water garden with a waterfall and coy fish.
