Lane's Story
Friends in Canon City probably wondered what happened to me, as I pretty much disappeared the summer of 81, when I moved in with my grandparents in Pueblo (and finished high school at Central High).
I did a year of college at USC, over the course of 2 years but was completely bored, and knew college was over for me when a professor asked me why I was in school and not out earning a living with my knowledge of computers.
Since then I've moved across the country following job...Expand for more
s of interest in the software development field. At some point I fell into game development and that's was my focus for a long time.
I finally got out of the games industry and into a real job, working at Quicken, Inc. developing the OS X Quicken Application. I'm stuck living in CA for now, but hope to get back to CO (or maybe Kansas) at some point.
I still run Ideas From the Deep (do a search to get the website) for retro-computing projects, and my personal roathe website..
