I joined our graduating class in our 8th grade year while part of us were going to Miller Junior High... My parents and I were the ones who built the second house out on the La Posta Road next to the smaller Isgar Ranch. I was one of those quiet cowgirls of the class thinking I was going to be going to college that fall tossing whether to go into law enforcement or medical field, but as we all know plans do change. I met and married my kids dad our senior year of school and married him that summer, thus school was put on hold and a family was started. Having moved to the east coast for his military career, we lived in the MD/PA area for three years. We moved home shortly until a major oilfield layoff, and a move to OR for the trucking industry. After buying a small ranch and having some livestock I was living my cowgirl life and loving it living 35 miles to the nearest town, but 60 miles to the nearest decent shopping.
