Laren's Story
After high school I attended 2 years of college, but decided I was better suited for the work force. Worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 7 years in Huntsville, Texas. I met and married a wonderful guy from Conroe - Tod Allen. We have 2 beautiful children, Beka - 11, and Garret - 7. We moved back to Woodville in 1999. I owned and operated an in-home day care for 5 years while my babies were babies. Once my son could start pre-school, I went back to school and got my degree in education. s took math in - from Mr. Ken Freeland!!! The school has changed very little in looks...tremendously in students - attitude, looks, behavior, maturity, and anything else you could imagine. But, short of the TAKS test, I love my job. Any of you that know me, know I can handle a sarcastic kid. I have taught many of my friends or classmates children. It's really funny when I tell them I went to school with their parents - and call them by name. You should see their behavior improve!! :) I haven't had my house egged or car keyed, yet, so I guess I'm not doing so bad.
