Larry's Story
Life
I went to work for American Telephone and Telegraph Co. (ATT) in Montgomery immediately after graduation and moved to Atlanta in 1969. In 1989 I retired from ATT while living in Conyers, Georgia a suburb of Atlanta. In 2008 I moved from Conyers to Gastonia North Carolina, a suburb of Charlotte, where I still live with my wife Betsy.
Since retiring from ATT I have worked for a Business Satellite Service Provider, Home Depot, a Cable Company, an Optical Telecommunications Equipment manufacturer and a Business Internet Service Provider.

ords; whichever came first. In May of 2017 I was laid off at the age of 72 and retired for good.
I have been married to Betsy for 34 years. Between us we had 4 children, 2 boys 2 girls from previous marriages. My son, Randy, passed away in March of 2016.
We have five grandchildren, 3 boys, Logan, Brock and Andrew and 2 girls, Bailey and Reagan. Logan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in December of 2021 and is now the owner of Tow Boat US Lake Wiley. Bailey is a senior at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw Georgia, Brock is a junior at the University of Tennessee, in Knoxville Andrew is a freshman at Georgia and Reagan is a freshman Alabama
