Larry's Story
Attended Colorado School of Mines graduating in 1970 in Metallurgical Engineering. Moved to South Africa in Feb 71 and obtaining MSc (1975) and PhD (1976) in Chemical Engineering. Spent 30 yrs in SA mining industry before retiring in 2004. Still Consulting in the Platinum Mining Industry. Now living in Mauritius and South Africa. I'm a keen cyclist and regularly ride several 100+ kms races in South Africa. Nesta and I love to travel and have been to many interesting parts of the world; in many cases we have done cycle tours - Viet Nam, Croatia, Ireland and India. We have also cruised the Yangtzee, the Nile and the Volga, hiked to Machu Picchu, in Nepal, Italy and along the El Camino in northern Spain.
