Life
After graduation, moved to Oklahoma and worked in a bank for four years; moved back to Pampa; moved to Dallas and started working for Southwestern Bell; moved to Houston working for Soutwestern Bell and part-time at a bar; then moved to Denver for Mountain Bell Telephone and retired from them in 1987 which of course is now Qwest Communications. Had started a floral business in my home while working for Mountain Bell and upon retirement, took classes and became a certified florist which I did for around 13 years and had to quit for health reasons. Went to work in the finance (stock brokerage). Still single and no one special in my life. Both parents, a sister, and brother have all passed away leaving my other two sisters and myself. One sister lives outside of Dallas and the other still lives in Pampa. Missy Marie, my dog of all most 16 years, passed away a year ago in August.
Member of the Denver Art Museum; Denver Museum of Nature & Science; Colorado Retail Florists Association (CRFA);The Metropolitan Museum of Art; National Trust. Was one the board of directors for the Mile High Freedom Band and their umbrella board of directors overseeing the band and choruses.
Have been clean from alcohol/drugs for 21 years now after going through rehab. Helped with the starting of the Colorado AIDS Project fundraisers and also the PRIDE parades.
