Larry's Story
I worked in many strange jobs for many years, from managing an Ice Cream store in San Francisco to working on an oil shale field out in Utah 70 miles from the nearest town.
Weirdest job? I had to sand blast the inside of a 7' diameter steel tank. I was put in a canvas suit with a hardened glass face plate. I had a compressor air hose tied into the suit so I could breath and a rope tied around me for "safety". I walked into the tank and began sand blasting the inside of the tank. and hit the metal. If I had dropped the sand blasting nozzle it would have been a "bad thing".
In school I was a Geology major, a Psych major and finally ended up in electronics.
I've been working in Silicon Valley for a long long (long) time.
I'm married ( almost 20 years ) & I have a son that just graduated high school and will be starting college this year.
I walked away from my faith for 30 years and then when I was at the highest point of my life suddenly returned.
Does anyone remember me?
I am a songwriter and I play my guitar in my spare time.
