Larry Galinato:  

After graduating from high school in 1973, returned to Hawaii and attended UH for a couple of years until I decided that I'd rather earn while I learn in the real world. Worked at a Shell gas station at Schofield Barracks then at the Navy Exchange in Pearl Harbor and finally worked as a photographer in Waikiki. Befriended a nice family from Cupertino, CA that vacationed on Oahu every summer. Moved to Silicon Valley to learn what that was all about. Employed with Bank of America Cupertino, Valley Fair and Sunnyvale Main branches until 1984. Finally got into high tech sales working for some low tech companies before landing at Informix Software where I did very well and also met and married my wife Jodi in May 1989. Informix transferred us to Lenexa, KS after they purchased Innovative Software. Lived in Leawood, KS for 12 years and loved it. After I was laid off, we tried to relocate to Charleston, SC and applied to Blackbaud but they weren't interested. I was hired by Intuit Corp. in Reno, NV after posting my resume on monster as a Payroll Account Executive for the Accountant Channel.
