Larry's Story
Life
I enlisted in the United States Navy after graduating in 1985 and became a Combat Search and Rescue Swimmer, Aerial Door Gunner, and Navy Diver. I flew in Helicopters for over 11 years and have been stationed in Jacksonville, FL, Japan, Africa, Middle East and Washington, DC. I received my B.S. degree in Education from SIU and became a Naval Intelligence Officer in 1997. I have deployed to over ...Expand for more
30 countries to include Beautiful war-torn Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the biggest shithole in the world-Djibouti. Currently, I am a Lieutenant Commander (Major) and reside in the Mid-East. I deploy all over the world to fight terrorism and I love my job. A few close calls but what is life without risk and chances. I thank G-d everyday for giving me the chance to make a difference for my country.
