Larry's Story

I retired from the Air Force after 22+ years in 1992. Highlight was working in NASA for 5-years launching the Space Shuttle. I retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs after 20-years in 2013. Highlight was meeting WWII veterans and listening to their stories; most have past now. Now I live in sunny Florida in a 55+ retirement community outside of Tampa...Expand for more
. I volunteer as a Captain in the communities’ security patrol. I’m a member of the communities’ Science, Engineering, and Technology club and the Model Railroad Club. My two grandchildren (young men 10 and 7) are just 20 minutes down the road. When the “sunny” Florida gets to be too much, my wife and I take trips around the country in our RV. Life is grand.
