Larry's Story
Life
I am the oldest of seven children (three boys, four girls) of Russell E. and Helen L. Houseman. I was born in Blackford county, 10 April 1948. I have lived in several locations in and around Hartford City, Bluffton, Richmond in eastern Indiana/western Ohio for most of my life.
My father was a teacher and administrator within the Blackford county school system from 1957-1986. Mother was a homemaker with a houseful of kids to take care of.
Our family moved 13 times in the first 12 years of my life. Regular rolling stones. From 1961 on, we lived in Hartford City.
I graduated from H.C.H.S. in June of 1966. Attended Ball State 1966-67. Worked in various bookkeeping positions most of my life. For a time, I was employed in retail sales supervision and several security-related jobs.
Am presently semi-retired, but deeply involved in the final stages of an amateur (but I hope, not strictly amateurish) interdisciplinary study of the psycho-physical bases of mass human behavior.

d conceptual forecasts of large-scale social movements such as major financial & economic changes, socio-political trends, and warfare. I believe I am well on the way towards creating such a system.
I have a circa five hundred page manuscript, which is being re-written and re-organized.
For nearly four years I have devoted a considerable portion of my time, resources, and energies to writing. Currently, most of my focus is on research, revisions, and related tasks.
I have no publisher as of yet, but I expect that ultimately I'll find a suitable one...Hope Springs Eternal. Or, so they say.
Many years ago I lost contact with most of my fellow graduates of H.C.H.S.; Sometimes, as we grow older, more laid-back, sentimental (and wiser ??), we find ourselves wishing we had tried a little harder to remain closer to former friends and classmates.
A couple of months ago, I had an acute attack of New Year's Eve nostalgia -wondering what had become of the rest of the Class of '66. This mood led me to the 'Classmates' organization, and to this bio.
