Larry's Story

Life Hello to all members of RHS Class of 1972. After graduation, I was employed by Building 19, and Thayer Pharmacies while continuing my piano studies at The Chaloff School of Music in Boston. In 1975 I began two years of study at The Boston Conservatory of Music, and one year at The New England Conservatory of Music. In 1973, and 1975, I was fortunate enough to be a member of The Zamir Chorale of Boston and accompanied them on tours of Great Britain, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Israel where we sang under conductors Zubin Mehta and Daniel Barenboim. I have also been able to travel throughout most of the Eastern Seaboard and Canada. I then settled on my present career in Piano Technology (Tuning & Repairing) by completing a course at Pulsifer ABC Piano Tuning School in Newton in 1979, and a two year course in Piano Technology at North Bennet Street School in Boston in 1985. ed by Matthew in 1993, and our daughter Eleanor in 1995. In 1993, I was employed by Reebok Internation, Ltd. and continued there until 1999. During this time, I continued to operate my Piano Tuning, and Musical Entertainment Businesses. We live in Brockton, MA and I am employed full time in my own business Nelson Piano Service and The Kadima Band performing at special occasions since 1977. I made it to the 20th and 25th reunions and am sorry I wasn't able to make it to the 30th. I hope to see everyone at the 35th in 2007. I do hope that everyone has been happy and healthy all these years. I am very impressed with what we have accomplished as a class. Let us remember those years and our classmates who have departed us with fond memories. Let us also remember that in light of the tragic events of 9/11/01, and subsequent events, may we soon see a world where we can all live in peace and harmony. Remember, though we are all different there is much more that binds us than seperates us. May God grant you all good health, happiness, and peace. Cordially, Larry J. Nelson
