eceived information from shops from around the country.
Mitchell produces manuals and electronic delivery systems,CDs and on-line computer hook ups.
There are two Mitchells. One recently purchased by SnapOn Tool Company and called Mitchell1. They produce automobile mechanical repair information. The other called Mitchell International produces automobile collision repair information. I worked for Mitchell1.
In the beginning there was only one Mitchell, called Mitchell Manuals. They printed both mechanical and collision repair information. In 1990 they formed two companies:Repair and Collision.
I worked for Mitchell Repair. In 2000 they were purchased by SnapOn and the name changed.
I miss my friends that I made over the years. I have not been in contact with them though. My daughter Debbie also works for Mitchell1 and my son Larry Jr. works for Mitchell International. They keep me informed as to what is going on.
Thanks to a great benefit package I was able to retire two years early.
Retirement is a blessing believe me!
