Larry's Story
After college worked briefly for the Va. Dept. of Taxation, loved the job hated the pay. Tried insurance sales hated both. Eventually ended up at Washington Gas where I worked in the same dept. with Gary Spates. We stayed very close to Gary and Sharon for a number of years. Left Wash Gas in '87 to start our own remodeling company. My partner and I joined Case Design in '95. what God had wanted me to do, and that was to serve him as a missionary.
Went to work for our home church in Warrenton, VA in 9/99 intending to stay there until retirement. But we visited Zambia Africa in '01, and knew almost immediately that we had to return as full time missionaries. We were approved to go to Zambia in May of '03, stayed there through 2007. We now have been in Sierra Leone for the last 15 months. It is both extremely challenging and rewarding at the same time
