Larry's Story
Worked at DLand (with Randy Pangborn) while I went to college. Almost dropped out and then discovered Police Science. Got an AA in that along with a job offer from Costa Mesa P.D. but then entered four-year electrical apprenticeship program (following in George Botich's footsteps). Spent the next 25 years in electrical construction. Retired from IBEW Local 441 in '98 and went to work for Santa Margarita Water District in south OC. I am the Electrical Superintendent there and love my job. Married Margaret Shiraishi ...Expand for more
(Class of 71) and had a son. We parted ways in '83. Margaret passed away in 1998. In 1984 I met a gal, Patti, from San Diego who had a daughter same age as my son, and in 1985 we got married and we had a son. We are living happily ever after in north San Diego County. My oldest son is a tatoo artist in Oshkosh, WI. Our daughter just gave us our third grandson. My youngest son just graduated from Cal State San Marcos. My biggest question for all of you: How the heck did forty years go by so quick???????????????????
