Life I guess it is time for an update. Life has moved on whether I was ready or not. After we got settled in our new home, we were doing LOTS of fishing and enjoying every minute of being out camping. Then the old body started to argue, and I got a new hip. It was working fine and we were about to get the poles ready, when 3 months later, I fell and broke the bone around the new hip and had to have a revision. Unless the fishing area is flat and no rocks, I just can't move around, so fishing was put on hold the last couple of years. A great positive for me was in 2012 and 2018, I got to spend a six week stay at the Blind Rehab Center in Tacoma, WA. It opened up a whole new life for me as a legally blind person. I learned life skills, got a computer set up special for me, got a phone set up for me, and received lots of devices to help me with every day life.
