Larry's Story
Life
Larry began his musical career before he entered kindergarten, singing and playing the piano in church. From this early beginning, Larry added the saxophone, clarinet, flute, guitar, bass, and while in college, expanded his musical expertise to include all of the instruments of the symphony.
Larry has been a featured concert pianist with the Grande Ronde Symphony, and has conducted the Seattle Opera Chorus with his arrangement of ÂThe Star Spangled BannerÂ.
Larry has toured from coast to coast, performing in nightclubs and concert venuesÂwherever the muse has taken him.
One of the highlights of his career was a show he produced and performed at the Marriot Hotel in New York City. This show was a compilation of musical theatre, including selections from ÂFiddler On The RoofÂ, ÂWest Side Story and ÂThe Phantom of The Opera. His love of the theatre earned him the outstanding actor of the year from his alma matter.
Larry has been a scholar most of his life; Phi Beta Cappa; WhoÂs Who in AmericaÂs Colleges and Universities; graduating at the top of his class to pursue a career in educating children.

iano, reeds and voice, he brought his formidable talent to the forefront sharing his musical expertise with younger players.
His students have been featured on Bill Moyers ÂMeeting of the Minds a television special that illustrated the healing capability of music.
Larry has students enrolled in the Manhattan School of Music, on full scholarship, and other students attending Vanderbilt, M.I.T. and many of the major universities through out the United States. After more than 20 years, his students still stay in contact with Larry, sharing their hopes, dreams, and success in performing, creating, and recording.
This cd was realized and created by Larry.
Larry wanted to create a Âchick-flick cd. Sounds that would enamor the fairer sex---candlelight, a fireplace, a glass of wine and romance.
The lush sound of his voice, framed by the piano, bass, guitar, sax, and clarinet, is reminiscent of a time when music was more than sonic wallpaper.
As you listen to this recording, please notice ÂBlack SambaÂ--- a tour de force of musical composition and expertise---a virtuoso performance that rivals any performance at Carnegie Hall, written and performed by Larry.
