44 years since graduation !!! Times does seem to fly by !!! I joined Classmates last year out of curiosity . I finally have time for some reflection in my life . God has blessed me in many ways . I was looking at my yearbook and the people that i was priveleged to have known at a time when I thought school would go on forever . Boy , has that view changed ! AT any rate , a quick synopsis , of my past 44 years is as follows : I joined the Marines right after graduation . ....4 years active duty , with a tour of duty in Viet Nam and then tours in the Mediterranean and in the Caribbean , including Panama . I worked for the state of Michigan for several years before deciding to attend college . I started out at Mott Community college and then attended Central Michigan University until I ran out of money . I got married , started my own buisness , got divorced ---no children . Worked with Meijer Inc. in their Loss Prevention Department until Agent Orange finally disabled me with a variety of medical conditions .....that was beginning in 2004 . I took an early retirement from Meijer and with my disability pay from the Veteran...Expand for more
