Larry's Story
Life
After graduation I joined the Army and spent 8 years rising to the rank of Staff Sgt. Got married had a son who has just left the service after also doing 8 years, in many of the same locations as I served. Divorced in "81 never remarried although came somewhat close once. Went to work for the Post Office in "81 (will retire as soon as Dec"03 or as late as April '04. Spent the last 3 years as a fraud investigator for the Postal Inspectors. Have been Vice President of a Para Legal Firm. Have spent the last 20 years doing Historical Re enactments for stage and screen. Guest instructor at a couple of Colleges here in San Diego. Jan. "Deadwood". Series being filmed in July. I'm having fun doing far more that I thought that I ever would. Started a business called Beaver Creek Trading Company 3years ago. Small but, doing ok. I have a stage show that I've been directing anually for the past 9 years. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to have this much fun, but, I'm going to keep going until someone finds out that they gave me more fun than I was supposed to have. I haven't figured out how to get financially well off yet but I count friends and acquaintences in the hundreds and that makes me a very rich man. I retired April 1, 2004 after 31 plus years for the gov. I figured that April fools day was a great day to retire. Before they caught on to this old fool.
