Larry's Story
I graduated from Wichita State in 1972 with a Political Science degree. I graduated from Washburn Law School in 1976 with a Juris Doctor degree. I started practicing law in Kingman, Kansas doing primarily trial work for 13 years. In 1989, I was appointed District Judge and in 1991 I became Chief Judge of the 30th Judicial District and still serve in that position.
I have been married to a wonderful woman for 25 years and have 1 son,2 stepsons and 4 grandchildren. The kids/grandkids live in Phoenix and Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

unk in bands in Wichita. I currently play jazz with sax player Clarence King ( playing at Mort's this summer-2008) and have a new rock/blues band called Fuzzy Logic ( with 3 great female musicians). Our debut gig will be June 21, 2008 at the Pump House in Old Town,Wichita. Most of my free time is spent on music in one form or another. We frequently travel around the country to see our favorite musicians.
My wife and I live on 5 acres of woods on the edge of Kingman and enjoy wildflower/native plant gardening.
We travel alot-- our favorite places being Santa Fe, Taos, New Orleans (for Jazzfest every year) and New York City.
