Larry's Story
I left G-burg in my sophomore year moved to York, hated school in York, quit in my junior year enlisted in the Army when I turned 17, spent 1st enlistment in France and states, second three years I was a dog handler at a Nike Missile base in Michigan. Re-enlisted in 1967 to go to Vietnam, spent 4 months in the infantry and the remaining 8 months as a door gunner on a UH1B helicopter gunship. Left the Army in 1970, went to flight school, flew charters and banners out of Ocean City, Md. Myrtle Beach, SC, and Miami, Fla. for twelve years. ve the cowboy fantasy and produced two videos about the Old West. After 9 years in Wyoming I traveled around the country for three years in a motor home producing promo videos for resort camp grounds. Settled in Arizonain 2002 because my daughter and grand daughters live here. I miss Gettysburg and the OC beach but I guess I'm here for the duration.
