Life
After failing Mrs. Reilly's senior English class -- and dealing with the resulting night-school exile --I chose the logical path in college: Journalism, with a minor in English. After five years at the University of South Carolina, I took a job writing sports at a daily newspaper in High Point, N.C. Was only there for eight months before going to work for the paper...Expand for more
in Augusta, but I managed to stay long enough to snag my future wife. Stayed in Augusta for five years before taking a job covering Clemson for The Post and Courier of Charleston. There's one teensy drawback: I can't live in Charleston. We're residing in the Clemson area, which isn't as bad as it sounds. But we hope to end up settling in the Lowcountry in a few years.
