I'm now fully retired from the print/publishing business, and still living in Bakersfield, CA . Prior to moving here in 2010 we lived 12 years in Costa Rica where we raised cattle and horses at the edge of the rain forest. Bakersfield reminds me of the Phoenix area about 50 years ago. thern California. It is, however, about 8 degrees cooler than Phoenix on a very hot day and Phoenix didn't have oil wells sprinkled throughout the landscape.
We have five children and eight grandchildren with the youngest being eight years old the oldest 27.
After a short 27 year engagement I married my longtime sweetheart on June 18, 2016.
I lost her to pancreatic cancer less than three months later.
