Larry Clawson:  

Most classmates would remember me as the quarterback for our undefeated football team, which I believe is still the only unbeaten football team in the history of Rich Central. I was also on the basketball team, sharing MVP honors with Randy Huizenga. I attended the University of Wisconsin on a football scholarship, was the leader in total offense for our freshman team and made it to 2nd string on the varsity until a knee injury ended my football career. I majored in Education and received my BS degree. After graduation, I taught and coached at Rich South high school for 2 years in the late 1970's. In 1980 I began my career in the insurance business at Prudential Insurance in Illinois, working alongside fellow classmate/teammate Chuck Deerwester. I moved up the management ladder with Prudential, relocating to Denver Colorado in 1983 and lived in Ft. Collins, Denver, and Colorado Springs for 16 years until 1999. I was the Managing Director for Prudential's operations in Northern Colorado, Denver and Colorado Springs untill 1999. During that time I met my wonderful wife, Danette. I also have 3 wonderful adult children, Shawna, Jeff, and John. In 1999, I was offered a state management position in Arizona, where we lived for 6 years until 2005 and built the operations in Phoenix and Tuscon.
