Larry's Story
Life
(In the "then" picture above, I am in the lower right corner)
Married to Frances Lisoski since 1968. Two Children Steve('73) and Deanna('70). Both are married. Currently we are living in Florida and retired from Raytheon Network Centric Systems as Senior Systems Engineer. I enjoy computers, gardening, pottery, fishing, golf, wood and metal crafts, and cruises. I have traveled to Guam, Puerto Rico, Iceland, Alaska, Okinawa, England, France, Switzerland, and spent two years living in Turkey. I would like to hear from friends of the past.
College
Left College my Senior Year and Joined the U.S. Coast Guard. Credits expired before I could complete my degree. I have an ASET and 20 years of various classes.
Workplace
After leaving the Coast Guard, I worked as electronic design engineer for Micro Instrument Company and Maas-Rowe Carillons in Escondido California, Analytical Systems Engineering Corp in Boston Mass and San Diego Calif, then Electrospace ...Expand for more
Systems in San Diego. Electrospace offices in San Diego closed and I had an office in my home for 10 years at which time Raytheon purchased the main company and moved me to Florida. During my time at Electrospace I was the field engineer ensuring high power VLF transmitters were properly installed, tested and sold off in Puerto Rico, Okinawa, Iceland, and Turkey. I retired as a systems engineer doing architectural design for military communications systems.
Activities
I indulge in crafts such as wood, stone, and metalwork, 3-D printing, pottery, gardening. My travel has been somewhat curtailed, but I am still exploring the Southeast. Pottery in Florida is a hot activity in the summer with kilns at 2400 degrees and the outside temperature seeming to match. When I moved to Florida I sold many of my woodworking tools on the mistaken belief that wood in Florida was threatened by termites. It seems they fix that problem in Florida with lots of poisons.
