Michael (Larry)'s Story
Life
Spent 27 years as a Firefighter with the KCMO Fire Dept. I have been happily married to the same wonderful woman since Sept 1970. We have two grown children, a boy (also on the fire department), and a daughter, married with two wonderful children of her own. on a fire company the majority of which was as a pumper driver. My wife, Melba, was a travel agent. I love to scuba dive and eat good food. I quit drinking and smoking about 1978 (health reasons not moral ones), and am enjoying life to it's fullest. Currently have 3 wonderful grandchildren ranging in age from 1 year to 16 years old (as of Jan. 2010). We live next door to our daughter and about 10 blocks from our son so everyone is very close by.
