Larry's Story
Life
After years of running around the world (39 countries, average trip length of 2 months, out of the US half of the year), I am now in a job that has me traveling only infrequently -- primarily to Monterrey (Mexico); Nice, Berlin, Aalborg, and Bangalore.
Most of my travel is now with my wife, Judy. In 2007, we are driving to Sedona, AZ for our anniversary; then we will spend a week in Desert Hot Springs, CA. We are also tentatively planning a Europe trip in the Winter. Other than that, we go to San Antonio for the weekend about every other month, and to Kauai. Our annual trip to Kauai was cancelled this year by my back surgery (from a car accident) in January. We plan to go back in early 2008.

nted a pool, I wanted only a hot tub. The swim spa is a "best of both worlds" compromise. The woman always gets her way..... :-)
My hobbies are photography, ham radio (Emergency Communications / Disaster Management emphasis), singing (baritone/tenor soloist, and reading (time limited).
For the past 30+ years, I have trained with National Weather Service as a SKYWARN spotter. Currently, I also carry credentials for City of Richardson (TX) Emergency Management and State of Texas Governor's Office of Emergency Management. For Disaster Response, I deployed for a bit over a week with the Texas Baptist Men Communications team to Bogalusa, LA after Katrina. I have also been the primary interface between the city and state governments following four tornados.
