Larry's Story

We spent most of our adult life on the west coast, where we owned a number of radio and subsequently television stations. I retired from active involvement in broadcasting in June, 2011, to pastor a church - a long-time dream. Being a pastor was awesome but I only got to do it for 17-months as I was asked to become Chief Operating Officer of our denomination - the Free Methodist Church - USA. is in October, 2012, where our World Ministries Center is located. I did that job for five years and retired at the end of 2017. We've now moved to Clearwater Beach, Florida, where our eldest son and his family live. I continue to serve on a number of boards and we still own three NBC television stations in Oregon, so we're travelling a lot and thankful for more time to spend with our three children and 10 grand-children.

Enjoyed three days in Salem, Oregon last week with Sheryl's brothers and sister, and our beautiful daughter Stacey, celebrating Sheryl's mom's 88th birthday. Stories, games and laughter. Sheryl is of good stock.
