% disability after being wounded in Vietnam to fight for the right to return to Vietnam and continue being a Combat Infantry Ranger.
ONLY THIS RANGER IN THE SKY
He retired and went on to serve as a LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER as a Canine Officer and Deputy Sheriff 20+ years. Solano County and San Rafael (California)
Interesting enough making his mark there too
The very first Color Guard San Rafael had he put in place, trained and purchased their uniforms with his own money. To include a department flag.
Today the Color Guard is represented at academy guaduations and at the grief and sorrow of an officers funeral.
