Larry's Story

Larry is from Wewoka, Oklahoma. He is Married with Kay Stumpp. His schools include Wewoka High School. He later attended East Central State College and studied History and Government, Economics and attended University of Oklahoma and studied History Major. He works(ed) at Notary Public. One of Larry's favorite quotes is:"It's not the severity of punishment but rather the certainty of punishment that deters crime. - Judge Isaac Parker God created war so that Americans would learn geography. - Mark Twain Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness... - Mark Twain I never dared to be radical when young for fear it would make me conservative when old. - Robert Frost Don't tell me how educated you are; tell me how much you've traveled. - Muhamm...Expand for more
ad". More about Larry:"I've purposely presented this anthology, not just to define or describe who I am, but to provide a bit of an insight into what I am, and why... It is intended also to be a continuing work-in-progress as I reflect on events that have shaped my views, opinions and outlook. While we may not have any control over events, they certainly shape our lives, for better or worse. Some can point to a truly life-changing event in their life. I don't think I can. In retrospect, which I think is a good perspective, there are few if any defining "blacks" and "whites' in my experiences... I suspect there are just a sum total of a lot of varying shades of greys... And if that makes any more sense to you than it does to me "You're a better man than I, Charley Brown."".

This is Kay's latest endeavor. This afghan will be on the auction block at the DAR Christmas social and white elephant sale... minus the cat. :-)

No, this is NOT a repost of a photo of Anthony Weiner's lower extremity, and while I've never been inclined to photograph any portion of my anatomy for public display, I feel compelled, as titular head of the clan, to defen
OK, Beth, Kim sent me a photo which (once you get past the 40-pound stereo damage to the big toe) clearly shows the remaining are definitely "Stumpp toes"...
As a follow up to the pool pics, I wanted to show the original "concept" illustration Beth and Arthur got from the contractor. The only thing different is the landscaping depicted; the final product is exactly identical..
I've posted a couple of articles in the past hour 1) In Fed and Out, Many Now Think Inflation Helps, 2) The Fed Reserve's Goal. Back in January 2012 I posted this graph asking the question "When did they slip the dollar de
Just had to share this photo... The caption in Russian translated as "poor Coach"...
