LaToya's Story

Life Hi Everyone!! MY LIFE...hmmm!! I think most of you would say..."This is not the Toya I knew growing up!!" I am still very much stubborn and controlling as most of my friends describe me...but I have grown a lot. :-) I married the guy of my dreams on September 28th of 2003...DeWayne Griffin. I graduated from Grambling State University in the Spring of 1998 with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. Currently, DeWayne and I live in Illinois with our handsome 10 year old son Tre'on and our beautiful 1 year old girl...Amiyah. I have been employed with State Farm Insurance Companies at Corporate Headquarters since 1998 and currently am a Business Architect...Toodles!!!! School The school days back in Ferriday, LA are so precious to me now...I truly treasure them. The friends I had...the memories...the teachers...I must say I really loved my child hood. I am sure EVERYONE remember "Toya's Classic Memory...when I was a lil' tipsy :-)"!! Even the not so good times are funn...Expand for more
y because I can now see how I let them make me become a better person rather than letting them pull me down. It's strange when you look back and compare those days and people to the here and now. GOD BLESS...Toya!! College GRAMBLING STATE UNIVERSITY!!! GSU...GSU...GSU...GSU...U...U..U..I thought you knew.....!!!! College was the best time of my life. All the life long friends I have is such a wonderful things. Tre'on Xavier Bell came along my sophomore year...some say that kids at a young age is one of the worst things that could happen...for me it was the best. I had this little bundle of joy to care for...so that was all the motivation I needed to succeed in school. Alpha Kappa Alpha Soroity Inc.!! Alpha Theta Chapter - Spring 1998!! Skee-Wee My Sorors!!! Workplace Working really makes you appreciate the days of school when you made your own schedule...didn't really have any responsiblities...you received spring and summer vacations!!! :-) I love my job though!!!
