Laura's Story

Life After high school, spent eleven years in the navy, first getting through the academy, and then flying helicopters and driving patrol boats. Got out, got a masters in creative writing from Johns Hopkins, worked a few years as an engineer in a defense department think-tank and part-time college professor, and then went to med school. As for personal life, I have a dachsund-mix dog named Jake, I am still looking for Mr. Wrong, and I enjoy painting, writing, reading, rowing, sailing, biking, and good food and friends.
