Laura's Story
Life
I graduated from Colby Community College in 1990 with an Associate's in Information Processing. I moved to Wichita, KS in 1991 and met my husband, Charles Klein, who is active duty USAF. We married in May 1996 in Connecticut, transferred to Edwards AFB, CA in August 1996 and are still here. Chuck has a minor in Aviation Safety and a Bachelor's in Professional Aeronautics. 998 and now hold a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. We have one child, a boy, born in June 2000. I'm currently employed by an engineering company, Sverdrup Technology, who is a contractor to the USAF where we test rocket motors and explosives. My husband has been in the Air Force for 12 years and is currently working in the B1 Bomber Supervision group - plans to stay in for his full twenty years.
