Laura's Story
Life
Graduated in 1968 from Little Flower. Married my husband of 36 years in 1971. We have six children, three girls and three boys. I presently have six grandchildren, three girls and three boys. I work in Real Estate, because it gives the flexibility to help take care of my oldest daughter's four children so she can go to work. I mostly work from home. Our house is quite a zoo with three of my children still at home, and my oldest daughter and her four children now living with us. We have 5 dogs and 1 cat, a combination of my daughter's and my pets. We live in Richmond Hill, GA, out in the country on five acres, totally surrounded by water. My grandson...Expand for more
s loved to fish and catch crabs down the road at the Jerico River. It is salt water, because the ocean is only a few miles out. They even caught a baby shark one day. My children and grandchildren have been born and raised in the South, so I guess we are officially Southern. We are only one hour from Florida, so we have Florida weather. Only miss the snow at Christmas. It is hard to get into the spirit when it is 80 degrees outside, and you have on shorts. Went home to PA last year for Christmas so the kids could see some snow, and it turned out to be warmer in PA than in GA. My four year old grandson wants to see snow so bad. Send some this way!!
