Laura's Story
Life
I attended Valencia CC, transfered to FSU where I earned my Master's in Speech & Language Pathology. I worked in public schools in several states and in the Dept. of Defense schools in Japan, serving preschool thru high school communication-disordered children with a broad range of cognitive/physical/emotional challenges. I also taught English in a private Japanese school. I made a career change and began teaching preschool in the mid-90's, and found that to be my professional calling.

ok us to Texas, Japan, Alabama, Florida, and Alaska. We've traveled extensively across the continental US and Western Canada.
We have two sons, a grandson, and a granddaughter.
After 26+ years in the Air Force, Kent retired, attended Concordia Seminary, and we now live in Oakridge, OR, where Kent is the pastor of St. Luke Lutheran Church. I am teaching in our local preschool program for children with special education needs. We love it here, and are looking forward to growing long roots.
I enjoy quilting, cross-stitch, cooking, entertaining, fishing, and exploring new places.
