Laura's Story

ll, England, four years ago with current and 'forever'' husband. I never--thank god--had kids; my husband's were grown and gone when I met him. Horses, dogs, cats...lots of all. Acquired Irish citizenship along the way so I can live anywhere in the EU I please, without problems. Never planning to return to the US again...and to ensure that, I renounced my US citizenship so I literally cannot live there again without becoming an immigrant. (Why would I do that? The EU has everything the US has...and more. As I discovered 35 years ago.) HOWEVER, I do care very much about what's happening to and in the US, and it is deplorable. Not to mention delusional. The things I give the most thanks for every day are the parents who raised me to both think and feel; my beloved retired jumper horse; my forever husband, Simon.
