Laura's Story
Life
Where do I began? I graduted in May 2000. I got a job and begin going to South Plains College for Business Adminstration but after 3 semesters changed my mind. I went back to what I know and enjoy the most, Studio Art, mainly photography. While working at my job for 4 years, I ran into an old friend, Benjamin Bristow (Class of 1999 at Monterey HS). We dated when he returned from the Army and got married April 2004. Ben and I now have two boys (6 years old and 20 month old) and a baby girl on the way. Ben is in law enforcement and I am still a student at South Plains College (I need to quit taking breaks!).
School
My favorite class had to be Art. Mr. Spencer was the teacher ...Expand for more
and pretty much anyone in my class was great and wonderful friends. I took Art all 3 years of servitude at old Monterey High. I can always remeber what we did during lunch period! Hush, hush info there.
College
South Plains College is great. Right now I'm a homemaker and full time student. I have been on a year long break from SPC and plan to go back shortly after having our third and final kiddo.
Workplace
After graduation, I took a job at Home Plate Dinner. I was ther for 4 years. During those 4 years I started college, married my husband, and had my second child. I was wonderful working with all those great people and eating their excellent food all day!
