Laura's Story
I thought I would join classmates just to see what it was all about. I would be fun to find out what some of my old classmates were doing. I moved to Alaska in 1977 and have made a home there just outside of Anchorage. I taught school and was a counselor in Alaska for 28 years. Jim and I have two sons who are living in Alaska right now. t son, Sam, is at the University of Alaska. I retired in 2006 from my job in Anchorage and Jim and I have been teaching English in Yangshuo, China for the past two years. We spend 5 months here and then return to Alaska for the summer. China and Alaska are two wonderful places to visit so drop me a note if you are headed to either destination.
