usta, GA. Joe's career kept us moving he had a very good reputation in what he did. Unfortunately his career was halted in March 2008 when he was diagnosed with Multiple Mylemona. It's funny how wonderful the grace of God is and how he puts you in places. We found out quickly after Joe's diagnosis God put us in the Augusta GA area for a reason and that was the Doctor's and the treatment options here and our Church and Church family. After 4 years of battling his cancer I lost the love of my life on April 16, 2012. Without our church and family and friends and everyone's prayers Joe and I would not have had the extra 4 years together. I will always be grateful and praise and thank God everyday cause doctors only gave him 90 days when they diagnosed him. When we lived in Alabama we got into raising German Shepherds. It was an expensive hobby but it was also a lot of fun. We had 4 dogs. 3 females (Gabby Blk/Silver), Candy (Solid Black), and Annie Mae ( Brn/Blk) and 1 male Sarge (Blk/Tan). We had two litters and the puppies were already sold before the ads came out in the papers. We had to sell the girls but we still have Sarge. He is amazing and very smart. He knows hand commands and can do things most handicapp dogs do like pick things up and hand them to you open and close doors. He has even helped me carry groceries. He loves to go for rides and is a big ham when other people are present.".
