Laura's Story
Life
After high school I went to college for awhile, but could not find my true calling. I married in July, 1987 to Roy D. West of class of 1983. Roy just joined the Air Force. So off to Sacramento, Ca. we went. While there we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl on January 1,1990. Roy took a early out and back to Kentucky we headed. Later that year in 1990 our we were told our daughter had cancer. After 2 years of battling this sickness, we lost our darling daughter. Roy works as a Correctional Officer at the prison in Central City and I am a housewife. We have 2 kids. Twins. A little boy and girl. ort/Centertown area. We enjoy being at home and being with the family. I guess you can call us homebodies now. Ha! We go to church at McHenry Baptist and get involved in church activities. When we travel, we love to go to a warm climate and head to the beach in Flordia. Looking forward to our 20th year reunion. Hope we can get several to help plan the event. Look for updates in the local paper. I really look forward to seeing everyone and catch up of things. Life has been different from what I ever dreamed it to be, but I am very happy. wouldn't change things for the world. I do hope and prayer all classmates are happy and reaching for their dreams.
