Laura's Story

Life After graduating, I worked at the TD and CIBC banks for 2 years. Then I went to UVIC to study psychology, and danced in the Frantic Follies in the summers. I fell in love with the producer, Lyall Murdoch and got married right away, in 1985. I then transferred to SFU, didn't finish, and began modelling and acting. f the film industry as a crew member (commercials only). I'm still doing this, but not acting anymore. Over the last 10 years, I have become a glass artist (glassblowing) and my work can be found at murdochglass dot com. Mainly, I make lighting. Last year I designed a huge lighting installation for the University of Delaware. I live in Gastown in Vancouver, and have dated someone in Bellingham for 10 years.
