Laura's Story
I have traveled to several foreign countries with my husband, Al, who was in the Army. He retired in 1985 and we have settled in Hinesville Georgia. We have three sons, Tom, Rick and Buddy. Tom lives in Waycross GA, Buddy lives in Jacksonville, FL and Rick lived in Sanderson, Florida. We lost Rick 6 years ago in an accident. We have 2 grandsons and 3 grandaughters. Tom has three girls, Rick has one son and Buddy has one son. We like to travel in our motorcoach when we can. Right now work gets in the way but someday we hope to be able to retire and travel a little more. We want to go out west to see parts of the country we have not seen.
Our address is Al & Wynde 406 Deerwood Road Hinesville, GA 31313. Our home phone number is 912-877-2621. During the day I can be found at Holtzman Real Estate Services where I have worked for 28 years as a bookkeeper for the property management department. My work number is 912-368-5490.
I would love to hear from some of you that went to Hialeah High.

Update: Finally, after almost 39 years Al is getting his Purple Heart from Viet Nam! We are planning a ceremony on the 28th of March.
I always wanted to be a wife and mother when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
To relax and get rid of stress I go for power walks
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Tommy Clark, because he was my first love.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 1/2 of it to the church, then spend the rest on childrens bills, our bills and help some one else out that did not know me.
My current age is 63. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be too old to do anything. I was so completely WRONG.
I have worked for the same company for 28 years. What I would love to do now is retire and travel.
I dress better now than I did 10 or 20 years ago.
If I had one do-over, I would go back to the 11th grade and change who I married.

lk to many people. They would be surprised now because I can talk to people without breaking out in hives.
My first job was at Arrow Paper Co, where I got paid $60.00 a week to work on the books. What I remember most about it is my boss would not let us tear off the adding machine tape when we added a column of figures. We had to roll it up and use the other side of the tape..
Since being on Classmates I have reconnected with several of my high school friends and one very special guy! I am so very thankful I joined.
I was very shy so I did not fit in with the in-crowd. I remember one time some boy stopped me in front of study hall and asked me if I had the time. I looked at him and before I thought I said do you have the money? I do not know who he was and I was too embarrased to ask. I do not think I ever saw him again. I did get brave in the 12th grade. The last day of school a group of us were standing outside study hall and we were talking to the teacher. Someone said "lets to get donuts" The teacher said OK but be back before the next period.

Up Date...
I have now worked for the same company for 30 years, and I just hit the big 65!!!!
One more year and I can retire. I do have a big advantage to keep on working so I may for a little while longer.
My first crush was a wonderful guy, good looking guy. I think he was the hansomest guy in the whole school. I got stupid and brook up with him. It was a really dumb thing to do. I really regret doing it.
Well, another year has passed and I am still working at Holtzman Real Estate Services. I have been there now for 31 years and it looks like I will be there for several more years.
We celebrated our 40t anniversary the 8th of October by renewing our vows. Carol (Stone) and her husband Mark came from Oklahoma to help us celebrate. Mark is the Lay Minister for the Episcopal Church in Antlers OK. Mark performed our ceremony in our home. Our sons and their children helped in the ceremony. It was Awesome!!!!
